My husband and I are about to set off on our first trip to Disney ALONE since we had our children. We’re going to celebrate our 10th Anniversary by heading to the House of the Mouse for the weekend. Needless to say, we can’t wait!
We figured since we will not have any little ones with us, we want to try and fit everything we can fit in that sometimes doesn’t get done. I used to love the faster, scarier rides, but now I’m not too fond of them. For whatever reason, I tend to get dizzy more often than I used to. I asked Jedi and Princess Minnie what their must-do list was for Mommy and Daddy. First, let me say that my two kids were great when they found out we were going to Disney without them. At first my son was a bit surprised, but then when I explained that Mommy and Daddy need alone time, he understood. My daughter was unfazed-probably because she knows there is no way we would not come back with a little something special for them. 😉 However when my daughter suggested a mommy and princess trip together, Jedi scoffed at that idea. That was not going to happen! (unless of course he was the one going with me!)
I have our list of must-do’s. Um. Yeah. They picked every possible ride that might cause a bit of trepidation in me, but you know what? I’m going to do it, or at least try and do all of them. My husband is Mr. Adventurous, so nothing bothers him! We don’t have a lot of time and we don’t really feel like running the whole time we are there, but we will get to the main ones.
Now here is the list made especially by our Minnie Trip Planners.
In Magic Kingdom:
Big Thunder Mountain
Pirates of the Caribbean
Peter Pan’s Flight
Mission Space: ORANGE!!
Tower of Terror (thanks kids! I SO appreciate this one…)
Rock ‘N’ Rollercoaster
I think this is completely do-able. Stay tuned for pictures of each stop along our tour! I’ll be checking in on Facebook and Twitter during our journey!
