The two questions I get from people I know, and people I meet are, “I get so overwhelmed by the magnitude of planning a trip to Disney World, how do you do it?” or “Can you help me?”.
I must admit, it can seem overwhelming at first. If you have never planned a trip where you have to plan transportation and accomodations, let alone add tickets and meal plans, it does seem a daunting task. I’ve planned trips for just my husband and myself, but also for our annual trip with 7 adults and 2 children. It can be done. It doesn’t have to be stressful. In fact, it can be alot of fun! (now, I hope you’re not thinking I’ve lost my mind on that one!)
I’ve created this site to help you plan the most awesome Disney trip you could ever imagine. My goal is that by using the information provided on my site, you will find that planning is easier than you thought and that it can be an exciting process as well.
My husband doesn’t get it. He doesn’t understand my fascination with Disney World, BUT he loves going to Disney World. See, I do all the planning and all he has to do is drive and enjoy the trip. MamaMouse (aka wifey) does EVERYTHING for the trip and I am happy to do it. Planning our trips and sharing about Disney World and all the magic that comes with it, is a passion for me, so it doesn’t seem like work. I get such joy from knowing my family (3 generations) will have a great trip and create memories that will last a lifetime. I love that my children get so excited about my website and about all the new things that mommy talks about and those we will experience in the future!
Speaking of creating memories, since we go year after year, I began taking a picture of the kids at certain places in the World each year. Then as the years go by, we can look at them and see how they’ve grown up. There is a Mickey and Minnie statue in the pin trading store in Downtown Disney. Since my daughter was 2, I have taken a picture of her there. It’s so cool to look at the 2, 3 and 4 year old pictures. Time goes by so quickly, it’s nice to have mementos like that!
So, my best advice is to start with the tabs on the upper left of my site. Those tabs will begin to explain the process of planning. Then, move to the right where I talk about resorts, theme parks, dining etc. My posts contain the most current information about events, attractions etc. Print off copies if that will help and highlight the info. Create a binder. And by all means, share with your friends and family the info and the site if you feel it will help them too!
