The true spirit of the American Southwest and Northern Mexican region is highlighted in the rambling resort known as Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Centered around a 22 acre lake called Lago Dorado, Coronado Springs Resort is reminiscent of days when explorers searched the land for gold. The buildings are terracotta masterpieces, decorated with vibrant Southwest colors and flanked by palm trees and water. You will find beautiful courtyards with fountains, white sand beaches with hammocks and everything else that a Disney Resort is known for! Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is also known for its massive convention center space, so don’t be surprised if you see people dressed in business attire walking around. The rooms are separated into sections called Casitas, Ranchos and Cabanas. If you are looking to stay close to transportation, opt for the Cabana rooms! Need to relax? Head to the largest hot tub located anywhere on Disney property!
