All You Need to Know About New Annual Pass Pricing

Annual Passes 2015 Disney (1)Recently, Disney introduced a new annual pass ticketing structure. Sometimes ticket pricing can be confusing, so it is my hope that I can simplify this for you. I hope you find that this makes sense. I will explain the prices and what you get AND when you can use them, starting with the highest, most inclusive passes first. These prices are effective as of October 2015. If you currently are an annual passholder, nothing will change with your current pass until it is time to renew.

Platinum Plus Pass

$829 Regular, $729 for DVC Members and Florida Residents (taxes not included)

Renewal Price: $705  Regular, $619 DVC Members and Florida Residents

What Do I Get?

This pass entitles you to one year of unlimited admission (with park hopping ability) from the date of activation. No blackout dates.

Where Can I Use It?

Platinum Plus passes allow you to visit any Disney World theme park, both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course, and ESPN’s Wide World of Sports complex.

What else is included?

With this pass, you get free theme park parking, a free Magic Band, and unlimited downloads from the Disney Photo Pass service.

 

Platinum Pass

$749 Regular, $649 for DVC Members and Florida Residents (taxes not included)

Renewal Price: $635 Regular, $549 DVC Member and Florida Resident

What do I get?

This pass entitles you to one year of unlimited admission (with park hopping ability) from the date of activation. No blackout dates.

Where can I use the Platinum Pass?

Platinum Passes allow you to visit any Disney Theme Park-Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

What else is included?

With this pass, you get free theme park parking, a free Magic Band, and unlimited downloads from the Disney Photo Pass service.

 

Gold Pass

Available ONLY to DVC Members and Florida Residents for $549.

Renewal Price: $466 (taxes not included)

What do I get?

The Gold Pass entitles you to ALMOST one year of unlimited admission (with park hopping capability) from the date of activation. Note the word ALMOST. That means, with this pass there are a few, select blackout dates. Those dates are December 17-31, 2015, January 1, 2016, December 16-31, 2016, and January 1-2, 2017.

Where can I use it?

Gold Passes allow you to visit any Disney Theme Park-Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

What else is included?

With this pass, you get free theme park parking, a free Magic Band, and unlimited downloads from the Disney Photo Pass service.

 

Florida Resident Silver Pass

Available only to Florida Residents for $389.

Renewal Price: $330 (taxes not included)

What do I get?

The Florida Resident Silver Pass entitles you to ALMOST one year of unlimited admission (with park hopping capability) from the date of activation. Note the word ALMOST. That means, with this pass there are a few, select blackout dates. Those dates are December 17-31, 2015, January 1, 2016, March 19-April 1, 2016, June 6-August 11, 2016, December 16-31, 2016, and January 1-2, 2017.

Where can I use it?

Silver Passes allow you to visit any Disney Theme Park-Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

What else is included?

With this pass, you get free theme park parking and a free Disney Magic Band.

 

Disney Weekday Select Pass

Available to Florida Residents for $259.

Renewal Price: $220

What do I get and where can I use it? 

The Disney Weekday Select pass entitles you to admission to all theme parks, including Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Blackout dates apply: No Saturday or Sunday admission, December 17-31, 2015, January 21, 2016, March 19-April 1, 2016, June 6-August 11, 2016, December 16-31, 2016, and January 1-2, 2017.

What else is included?

Disney Weekday Select passes provide free theme park parking and a free Disney Magic Band.

 

Epcot after 4 Pass

Available only to Florida Residents for $249.

Renewal Price: $211. (taxes not included)

What do I get and where can I use it

The Epcot After 4 Pass entitles you to admission to only EPCOT after 4pm. There are no blackout dates.

What else is included?

Epcot After 4 Passes provide free theme park parking and a free Disney Magic Band.
