Meeska, Mooska, Mickey Mouse! Does that ring a bell to you? If it does, then you probably have watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on Disney Junior. You’re probably all too familiar with the characters as well. In my house it’s Mickey and friends, Jake, Sofia and Doc, and I mean McStuffins, not Snow White’s friend!
Disney Jr. live in Hollywood Studios recently underwent a transformation. The show’s character list was changed to allow for the introduction of new faces. Gone are Winnie-the-Pooh, Handy Manny and Little Einsteins. Now Mickey and friends are joined by Princess Sofia, Jake and the Neverland Pirates and Doc McStuffins.
While the characters have changed, some things have remained the same. The storyline still revolves around the celebration of Mnnie’s birthday, but with new characters, there are new stories to be told. The best part about the show is when surprises fall from above. My kids look forward to that every year. They love to hunt for the really shiny gold doubloons that fall during the Jake segment of the show.
Disney Jr. live is a must-do if you have young children. Just make sure you arrive early because spots are limited. Don’t miss this special time when you’re in Hollywood Studios.
TIP: This is a great one to do if your kids are hot and need a break! Air conditioning and carpeted floors await you. A life saver from the Florida heat!
