Heading to Epcot for the day? Take a VERY short walk over the bridge to Epcot’s World Showcase. Want to walk a little bit further? Head in the opposite direction to Hollywood Studios. Or you can take a boat there. Just want to lounge by the pool? Take a dip in the large themed Luna Park pool with the Keister Coaster waterslide (a favorite of my 4 year old daughter!). Make sure you’re around for the games at the pool and you might win a cool prize. There are also quiet pools if you need to unwind.
Hungry? The boardwalk area offers everything from Mediterranean inspired food from Iron Chef Cat Cora to a burger and fries at ESPN zone. (my hubby’s favorite was their reuben!) Thirsty for a tall one? Head on over to Big River Grille & Brewing Works which boasts that they are the only on-site brewery in all of Walt Disney World.
