The Villas at Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

If you have been thinking about becoming a member of the Disney Vacation Club, now is a great time to do it! Disney Vacation Club just opened sales to the public for its newest resort, Disney’s Villas at Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.  Now you have the change to own a piece of Disney magic which will ensure you have amazing vacations for years to come. Think of it, never having to worry about where you will stay or what kind of resorts you can stay at! You will have the opportunity to choose from not only Disney Vacation Club Deluxe Villas, but by becoming a member, you can use your points to go on Disney cruises, stay at Disney’s Vacation Club resort in Hawaii or even travel all over the world with Adventures by Disney. The possibilities are endless!

Back to the newest resort.  Disney’s Villas at Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is located on the shores of Seven Seas Lagoon and shares the beachfront with The Grand Floridian Resort & Spa which means you will have access to the first class amenities that are located at your doorstep. The best part?  You will not only have bus transportation, but water launches and the awesome monorail system right at your resort. This is one of the luxuries of staying at the Villas at Grand Floridian! This resort continues what Disney calls the “Grand Legacy”. One word: Elegant.

The accommodations are simply stunning. The rooms decor is Victorian style, but in my opinion, very understated. The word luxurious comes to mind.  Here are some of the special touches you will find in the deluxe villas:

  • Crown moulding and cove ceilings
  • Stainless steel appliances
  • Granite countertops
  • Mosaic tiles on all bathroom floors
  • Victorian style jetted tub in Master Bedroom
  • Bathroom mirror with tv in it (Yes, you read that correctly! Now you can watch Stacey and her must do list while brushing your teeth!)
  • Bathrobes and additional towels, soaps etc.
  • 3 Bedroom Grand Villa has its own media room with surround sound and Blu-Ray player. (SWEET!)
  • Pull out beds

When I looked at the accommodations some of them said they sleep up to 10. I was trying to figure out how that was possible. I counted all the beds I could see, counted sleeper chairs and pull out sofas, and then I read the words pull out beds. When I saw the words pull out beds, I thought they meant Murphy beds that come out of the wall. Then I looked at the floor plans and could not find a wall that the beds would pull down or out from. Where were they? It wasn’t until I saw a picture that I knew where they were hidden. I already know there will be a fight between my two children as to who will sleep in which pull out! Here’s a look at what a pull out is…

How cool is that? A bed that comes out of the entertainment center. I definitely need one of those in my house. So cute!
